Loved the food and the service 😊 They have the Best Sweet Tea
Great place to go for food and drinks! Very friendly staff
Service was good the food was sparce and bland
They have amazing food I had bacon cheeseburger, salad, tomato, union, and pickles. Make sure to try THE DEPOT RESTAURANT!!!!!!!!!
Fun local place. Stopped by with a work group on our way through town based on a recommendation. Place was absolutely packed. Waited about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, service was good. Food seemed hot or miss. Need to know the menu like the locals. The best food at the table was the rueben a coworker had. Seemed that my onion rings were the best side.
Cool spot in an old train Depot. Staff was quick and attentive. The kitchen lost our ticket, but our server made sure we weren't forgotten about and comped us a round of drinks. Unfortunately I wasn't too thrilled on the burger, but I did see a lot of good looking food come out of the kitchen.
Stopped in while traveling through from out of state. Had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The pork was amazing and the seasoned fries were awesome. Good service. Would definitely recommend. Don't judge this book by it's cover!
Food was very good but took forever to get bill after finishing food and then took a long time to get paid out.
One of the best restaurants in town
The Depot was awesome, got me some grilled shrimp, brocolli and a side salad. The shrimp was nice and warm, as was the brocolli. The ingredients of the salad were fresh and the dressing was thick and flavorful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Depot.
I got the spicy bacon blue burger and it was very tasty.
Food was yummy. A cute little place with big portions
Great lunch spot! Shantel did a great job serving us and the food was excellent! The sweet potato fries were great! Wife had the BLT and I had a burger. Both we great. The place is very relaxed and a great stop off the interstate vs the usual fast food.
The food was great! My husband and I both had the train wreck burger which was perfectly named as the burger became a wreck as you eat it, I had a side salad with it and my husband had onion rings. My husband had the Coors draft beer which was good but not as cold as it should be. The service was ok, but it was a little busy so it's understandable that food and drinks were delayed. The decor was pretty cool, loved the artifacts displayed. Overall was a pretty nice place.
I have give them two star today because their kitchen fell short and I feel an hour and a half is not an appropriate wait for food. We had fish and chips, a reuben sandwich, and a couple burgers. The fish was over cook and the bread for the reuben was toasted to the point you could not tell it was marble rye.. but the fries were very good great seasonings. The wait staff was great very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is decorated nicely and bathrooms were clean.
Driving across country and by far the best place we have been yet! Amazing service and food! Definitely will be back.
Very busy. Had to wait over hour to get food. Waitress wasn't the best for our table. She helped other tables a lot better than ours
I would definitely eat here again if I get the chance to go to Wyoming again
Stopped in for lunch and The Depot was a nice surprise. Plenty of folks from town were having lunch when we got there, and the place was hopping but no too busy. I got the California Club and regular fries. The fries were seasoned with maybe some dill? They were incredible. I had already eaten the first half of my sandwich before I remembered to take a picture. My friend got onion rings and they were also seriously good. The restaurant its self was an actual old Depot that was converted, and it's right by the train tracks. The inside was cute with plenty to look at. The service was great, and everyone was really nice.
Awesome burgers and beer battered onion rings, seemed understaffed the time we stopped and took quite a while to get our food, but it seems like it's not always that way, maybe because of all the covid restrictions. So all in all a great place to eat
Fantastic street tacos. They are Huge & delicious.
Nice place. Service was quick and food was good. My rueben was delicious and my husband liked his BLT. The busboy was fast in cleaning tables and hostess seating people. No wait on Friday about 5 pm. Recommend.
Great food, fast friendly service
Nice place to eat.interesting building.good breakfast
Seems like Depots are a natural for turning into restaurants and they have done a nice job with this one. After much deliberation I chose the pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes. They hit the nail on the head with this one. My wife had the Southwest salad which was delicious. As an added treat a freight train rolled by while we were dining. Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone young or old.
Excellent friendly customer service 👍. Best BLT ever!
The Depot restaurant was a very cool spot, actually heard the train race by. Service was quick and staff was very friendly. Salad portion is great, and the food was delish.
Burnt stake and 2 burgers all on the same order. Bad service and way too expensive for a McDonald's quality meals. Do not waste your $$
Let's take a minute and reflect on the cook tonight. IGNORANT. Completely. On the menu, it says cheese fries "smothered with cheese and topped with bacon". So when my cheese fries FINALLY came out, there was a couple fries with cheese on them and a pinch of bacon. I asked our sweet as can be waitress, bailey, to please put some cheese and bacon on these fries. She took them back, got screamed at by the cook, (we heard and see the scumbag yelling at her) because he REFUSED to put cheese and bacon on them. Umm. WHY.?... I'm the one paying $9 for bacon cheese fries so it damn sure better be on them. Nope. He refused. So I refused to pay for them. I feel bad for the girls that have to work around that camoed out clown. We were there a couple weeks ago for the first time and it was excellent, completely different cook though. The girls are great and do their best. That man should not have a job in which he has to be around other people.
Great steak!! So tasty!! Nice place, right next to train tracks, fun to see the train pass.
Excellent, friendly staff! Great food and reasonable prices.
Best meal I have had in awhile. Great price. Clean place
Fast service and friendly staff. We came on St Patrick's day and had corned beef and a Reuben. Both were very good. They had several drink specials going as well. We would recommend this place for sure!
The first time I have ever given a tip of $0. Not a single positive part of the experience. Food (spaghetti) was mediocre. Waitress was extremely rude. When delivering food, she said “I don’t remember what you got, you figure it out”. Drinks were not refilled ONCE, despite the waitress stopping by our table to deliver both appetizers and mains after the drinks were already empty. Once waitress took our cards, she dropped them on the hostess stand and they sat there for 30 minutes. No one apologized for wait or poor quality of service. Saw a man sit down in the table beside me on a pile of ketchup that was left behind by the hostess who cleaned the table. Yikes.**Update: They charged one member of our party double for the meal. Swiped his card twice. Bank had to refund him after it alerted him to fraud.
One of the best burgers I've found since moving North from Texas 2yrs ago. *sidenote* my hometown is the founder of the hamburger so that's saying a lot. Lol
Poor service didn't get all the food we ordered and waited over 45 min for it to be ready
Clean, unique and great service. Food was delicious and good portions as well.
Nice Hometown atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
The food here is amazing love the workers super friendly make you feel right at home
Very good food, and service was ok. Prices were a little high in my opinion. Decor was clean and the history of the location is significant. Would recommend!
Absolutely a wonderful place. The people were nice and the food was awesome and filling. I don't usually like sweet potato fries, but theirs were delicious. The rueben was great and the steak tip sandwich was great! We will be coming back soon!
The food is cheaply done. Not fresh ingredients. Tried the fish tacos, my fault. Absolutely horrid. That should not even be a choice on their menu because it was the absolutely worse thing I've ever tasted. Shredded cheddar cheese and pollock. Gross.
The food was alright the onion rings had good flavor and the chicken fried steak my husband and son had tasted good. The potatoes were cold and the chicken in my salad was way over cooked my youngest sons grilled cheese was not able to even be eaten it was so hard. The service was terrible and it took over 45 minutes to get our food. We got seated outside which would have been ok normally but it was windy and we were out under no cover so we spent the entire time chasing items down that were blowing away.
The food is very decent. The portions are medium. The wait for service is justified since it is always packed on the evenings. So it is a mix review. Good food, decent prices, long waits!
Really enjoyed the food. The staff were very accommodating. They were happy to help with group pictures. All were friendly. The decor was fun, especially if old train stations are your interest.
Very good great place
Busy but fantastic food
They have good food and it is a good place to dine in, but they can consistently f@#k up a to go order. Seriously, here's my last 6 times of trying to get food from there:1 - No answer, tried multiple times 2 - No answer, tried multiple times 3 - Forgot 2 of the plates we paid for, had to go back4 - Gave our order to another customer, had to wait another 30 min5 - Messed up 2/4 orders, had to go back6 - Forgot all the sidesMoral is go eat in person and skip calling for a go order
Good stuff!! The dessert wasn't much to write home about.3/9/19... burger today was overcooked and a bit burnt.3/19 - Reuben was REALLY good...I opted for the spinach, artichoke and potato soup instead of fries, and it was delicious!! The raspberry mango cheesecake wasn't housemade, but it was quite tasty!4/26... Waitress was just as good as always!! Reuben seemed a bit light on meat, this time. Clam chowder, amazing, as always! Mango raspberry cheesecake, still mouthwatering and delicious!!
This is a great after work spot or low key family outing. I enjoyed their burgers and Jalapeño poppers. They have a full bar and some good beers on tap. Wait staff is nice and good at taking care of your needs. Every time I am in Douglas I make a point of going here.
